Adrian joined the practice in 1980 after working for Mouchel and Norman & Dawbarn in the UK. He gained his chartership with the Institution of Structural Engineers in 1978 and is now a fellow of the Association of Consulting Engineers. He became a director of the company in 1985.

Andrew Madden

Director, Structural Engineer

Andy joined the firm in 1992. After Graduating he worked for the AMEC group in the UK. In 1989 he moved to Guernsey to work for Balfour Beatty and R G Falla. He gained his chartership with the Institution of Structural Engineers in 1997 and became a director of the company in the same year.

Mike Ashman

Mike returned to Guernsey in 2009 after working for Gifford in the UK since graduating University. He gained his chartership with the Institution of Structural Engineers in 2011 and became a director of the firm in 2012.

Stacey joined the company in 2004 after graduating from university.

Rhys Kinsey

Senior CAD Technician

Rhys started working for the company after leaving school and has recently celebrated 25 years with Dorey, Lyle & Ashman Ltd. He completed his HNC qualification at the College of Further Education.

Russell started working for the company after leaving school and has recently celebrated 25 years with Dorey, Lyle & Ashman Ltd. He completed his ONC qualification at the College of Further Education.

Rachel Northey

CAD Technician

Rachel joined the company in 2009 after completing A levels in Art and Media Studies. In 2013 Rachel was awarded runner up Guernsey Apprentice of the Year. She gained her HND in Building Studies in 2014

Holly Stubbert-Malley

BEng (Hons) Tech IOSH

CAD Technician

Holly joined the company in 2022 after an 18-year career as a mechanical engineer. She has worked both locally and abroad in several industries: sporting goods and petrochemicals manufacturing, hydrocarbon distribution, steel construction, health & safety and waste management, medical device and food production. This includes experience working within the local public sector for the States of Guernsey Trading Assets.

Brandon Baskerville

Apprentice Structural Technician

Brandon Baskerville Joined in 2024 as an apprentice. After studying at the Sixth Form Centre, he spent a year in the UK and is now studying for his BTEC NHC-Construction and Built Environment at the Guernsey College of Further Education.

Sarah Holland

Accounts Manager

Sarah qualified as a chartered accountant in 2003 with BDO LLP in London. She worked for BDO in London, Australia and Guernsey until 2010. Sarah joined DLA in 2016 following a maternity career break.
